Bigger hail can cause damage, e.g. to cars and crop. Lightning strikes can cause fires in buildings or forests/vegetation. Stay up to date on the development of the weather and the weather forecast. Monitor the lightning map or weather radar on yr.no. Assess the need for preventive measures. Disconnect electrical appliances. Adjust driving speed according to the road/weather conditions. Seek shelter. Avoid open plains and large trees. Do not swim or bathe.
