HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Miami, Miami Beach, Surfside, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Opa-Locka, Miami Shores, North Bay Village, El Portal, Westview, Port Of Miami, Downtown Miami, Liberty City, Marlins Park, Golden Glades, Pinewood, Little Haiti, and West Little River. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a small central room in a sturdy structure. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts in excess of 50 knots, and large hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high winds and hail. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Sunny Isles, Key Biscayne, Hallandale, Cape Florida, Virginia Key, Bay Harbor Islands, Port Everglades, Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, Golden Beach, Surfside, North Bay Village, Indian Creek, Hollywood, and Fort Lauderdale. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes. Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots, large hail, high waves, dangerous lightning, and heavy rain are possible with this storm.
