HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and powerlines. Locations impacted include... Lancaster, Winnsboro, Springdale, Lake Wateree Dam, Pageland, Kershaw, Elgin, Heath Springs, Westville, Liberty Hill, Blackstock, Longtown, Lake Wateree State Park, Lebanon Fire Station, Bell Town Fire Station, Mitford, Faith Christian School, Pine Grove Fire Station, White Oak, and Bear Creek Park. This includes Interstate 77 between mile markers 36 and 51. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Persons in campgrounds should seek shelter until these storms pass. Severe thunderstorms can produce large capsizing waves and frequent lightning.
