Thunderstorms will develop north and northeast of Calgary this afternoon and track east toward the Saskatchewan border. A few of these thunderstorms are likely to become severe producing large hail and damaging winds. There is also the risk of a tornado. ### Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Strong wind gusts can damage trees, buildings and overturn vehicles.
