Peak rates of 10 to 20 mm/h expected during Thursday about the Hawke's Bay ranges. Note, heavy rain in northern Hawke's Bay may continue into Friday morning and the validity of this warning could be extended. Impact: Streams and rivers may rise rapidly. Surface flooding, slips, and difficult driving conditions possible. Chance of upgrading to a Red Warning: Low. Impact: Action: Clear your drains and gutters to prepare for heavy rain.
