Isolated torrential rainfall and rapid local flooding may occur. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by small hail and strong winds that could result in damage to property and trees. Be careful when outdoors. Drive with particular care. Isolated occurrences of severe thunderstorms are expected, accompanied by intense rainfall of around 40 mm, strong wind gusts of around 20 m/s (70 km/h) and hail up to 2 cm or their deposits.

BE AWARE that thunderstorms may occur. Take extra care in exposed areas, like mountains, forest and open terrain. Disruption to outdoor activities is possible. We expect hailstorms in district Púchov, that represent potential risk for human activities. They can be associated with short term rainstorms that can reach 20 - 30 mm, gusts of 18 - 23 m/s (65 - 85 km/h) and hail.
