Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 4 at 8:05PM CDT until July 4 at 8:45PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK At 804 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 2 miles northeast of Collinsville to 2 miles northwest of Catoosa to near Jenks to 2 miles southwest of Kiefer, moving southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 8:00 PM, a 63 mph wind gust was reported at Tulsa International Airport. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations in or near the path include... Tulsa... Broken Arrow... Sand Springs... Claremore... Okmulgee... Owasso... Bixby... Sapulpa... Flood Advisory issued July 4 at 8:34PM CDT until July 4 at 11:45PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, Rogers, Tulsa and Washington OK. * WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 834 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area.
