Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 4 at 8:05PM CDT until July 4 at 8:45PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK At 804 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 2 miles northeast of Collinsville to 2 miles northwest of Catoosa to near Jenks to 2 miles southwest of Kiefer, moving southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 8:00 PM, a 63 mph wind gust was reported at Tulsa International Airport. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area.
